This privacy policy has been compiled to better serve those who are concerned with how their ‘Personally Identifiable Information’ (PII) is being used online. Our website is scanned on a regular basis for security holes and known vulnerabilities in order to make your visit to our site as safe as possible.

G. What role can you play in protecting your accounts?

  • Never provide your Online ID or Password to anyone or to any site that you do not recognise and fully trust.
  • Do not leave your computer unattended after you have entered login details and passwords.
  • Always log or sign off at the end of a session.

H. Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site, you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on our site. We collect information about you during the checkout process on our store.
What we collect and store
While you visit our site, we’ll track:

  • Products you’ve viewed: we’ll use this to, for example, show you products you’ve recently viewed

Returns Policy
The following Returns Policy, Damage Policy, Warranty Policy and Product Colour notes apply to all Products sold by RMS.

Return Policy

Where the Customer has used or installed the products, such use or installation shall be taken as conclusive evidence that the buyer has accepted the goods notwithstanding that there is a defect in the quality or condition of the goods, or that they may fail to correspond with their specification and the buyer in those circumstances waives the right to make any claim against RMS. The Customer must accept full responsibility for the suitability of the goods ordered for the purpose to which they are put.
If, for any reason, you’re not satisfied with your purchase, we’ve outlined the following guidelines to help make your return a smooth and seamless experience:

  • All sales are final RMS cannot assume responsibility for the errors of others.
  • Products or materials ordered incorrectly cannot be returned without prior approval.
  • A “Return Authorization” form will be provided by RMS and must accompany the product upon return.
  • You may return your unused product in its original condition and original packaging within 7 (seven) days of receipt. Products that have been altered or modified in any way are not eligible for returns, replacements, or refunds.
  • Please request a “Return Authorization” form by sending us a message to info@rms-sa.co.za
  • Your refund will be issued only after RMS receives the returned product in its original condition, in its original packaging and together with the complete “Return Authorization” form.
  • A refund of product cost incl. VAT will be made within 30 (thirty) days of receiving your notice of cancellation.

Please note:

  1. This return policy does not apply to Products that are marked as non-returnable.
  2. Any bespoke & custom-made finishes and/or products, reduced to clear or discontinued items and sales items are excluded from our return policy. They cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged.
Damage Policy
All Products are shipped to you in appropriate packaging to help ensure that you receive your purchase in excellent condition. Upon receipt, please inspect your package closely.

  • If you receive a damaged product, RMS will assist you in receiving a replacement or refund as quickly as possible, at no cost to you.
  • Should you observe significant damage to the outer packaging, reject the shipment and have the carrier return it.
  • If there is minor damage to the packaging, indicate as such when you sign for the shipment, together with appropriate evidence of the damage.
  • In the unlikely event that you find the Product to be damaged upon opening it, you must notify RMS within 3(three) days of receipt. RMS cannot take any responsibility for products damaged during the transportation, where a third-party delivery-company is used, nor during the unloading or installation, if not done by RMS.
Product Colour
Despite every effort to accurately duplicate each product’s colour when shown on our website, actual colours may vary. Due to computer monitor resolution and colour settings, subtle variations in colour and surface texture may not be fully revealed when viewing products on our website. We make every attempt to give you a good representation of the available colours for each product available in our online store.
Pricing Policy
All prices are displayed exclusive of VAT. All products offered for sale on the RMS website/online shop are subject to a 15% Value Added Tax (VAT). VAT will be added to all items during the checkout process and displayed on all invoices as a separate item.
All prices are subject to change without prior notice due to supplier product pricing updates, currency fluctuation, fuel prices and/or unforeseen economic circumstances. In the case of human or computer error RMS reserves the right to re-invoice for the correct price or service.
If a “Sale” badge is displayed on the Product, it means that the Product is being offered for sale at a price lower than previously offered for sale on the RMS website/online shop.
When a price for any Product is shown in strikethrough, the strikethrough price represents the higher price of the item when it was listed previously on the RMS website/online shops. The strikethrough price is not intended to represent the prevailing price of a Product on any day.
