Project Overview
At Rosepark Hospital in Fichardt Park, Bloemfontein, RMS supplied and installed the reinforcing steel for a new water-tank structure, working with contractor MEFP Services. A water tank is a demanding piece of concrete work: it has to stay watertight and sound for decades, which puts the accuracy of its reinforcement front and centre.
The RMS Bloemfontein branch cut and bent the reinforcing steel to the engineer’s specifications, then delivered and installed it on site, a compact but exacting job of around 5 tonnes close to the branch’s home base.

RMS Bloemfontein handled the job end to end: cutting and bending the reinforcing steel to specification, delivering it, and installing it on site with the branch’s own steel-fixing support. Keeping fabrication and fixing with one local branch kept the work accurate and simple to coordinate for the contractor.
