Delivery within Gauteng is typically 3–5 working days, depending on stock availability and order volume. Large or custom orders (e.g. cut-and-bend steel, piling cages) may take longer. Our team will confirm delivery timelines once your order is placed.

Standard delivery in Gauteng is a flat rate R450. Delivery charges will be displayed at checkout.

Certain products, such as cut-and-bend reinforcing steel, may have minimum quantity requirements due to production processes. Standard stock lengths, mesh sheets, and accessories are available in small or bulk quantities.

All RMS steel products comply with SANS 920:2011, with rebar specifications ranging from 250 MPa to 500 MPa. Welded mesh complies with SANS 1024 and selected products meet BS 4482 tensile strength requirements.

Yes. Products such as cut-and-bend steel and piling cages are manufactured to engineer drawings and reinforcement schedules. For customised orders, please request a quote via the product page or contact your nearest branch.

Once your online order has been placed, RMS will provide the relevant banking details for payment by EFT. Your order will only be processed once full payment has been received and confirmed.

RMS does not currently export outside Southern Africa via the online shop. For cross-border orders (e.g. Namibia, Botswana, Mozambique, Lesotho), please contact to discuss logistics.

Returns are accepted only for unused products in their original condition, subject to RMS’s returns policy. Custom cut-and-bend orders and fabricated cages cannot be returned. Please contact to discuss returns.

If a product is unavailable after purchase, RMS will contact you to confirm whether you would prefer to wait, receive an alternative, or request a refund.
